Refund policy

Standard Shipping:
SCALE 1:1 furniture is made to order. Production lead-time is 3 to 4 weeks from the day the order was received. Standard orders will ship within 4 weeks from the day the order was received or sooner.
From time to time during peak season, the lead-time can extend up to 6 weeks. Normally peak time of the year: Summer time. SCALE 1:1 ships all orders as soon as they are ready to go. Unless, otherwise specified on the purchase order received.

Shipping and Freight:
SCALE 1:1 will work with the Dealer’s assigned freight carrier upon request. Dealers must schedule, pay and be fully responsible for the order once the order is released to the carrier. On the Dealer’s application form, the shipping information may be pre established and assigned (optional). Should the Dealer prefer using SCALE 1:1’s freight carrier, Dealer agrees to be charged the shipping cost including insurance plus 15% extra for handling costs added on each order form.
Wrong address: SCALE 1:1 will charge the dealer any and all fees associated with a wrong address provided. A rerouting or re-shipping charge equal to the original shipping charge added to the dealer’s credit card. There will be a 25% restocking fee for all packages returned to SCALE 1:1because of a wrong address submitted.

Drop Shipping Disclaimer:
Participation: SCALE 1:1 retains the right to evaluate dealer’s request for drop-shipping program and to accept or deny any e-commerce requesting participation in its wholesale drop shipping program based solely on its discretion.

Damage Goods:
In case of product damage caused by the shipping carrier during transit, dealer must file a claim direct with the freight company in question. Except for shipments arranged and paid by SCALE 1:1. It will not be responsible for filing freight claims, neither for the return costs of the damaged items. Replacement of damaged items caused by freight, must be done via a new purchase order submission for fabrication of a new product. Purchase order sent by the dealer for replacement and arranged a new freight. In the rare case of a discontinued product that require replacement or the last item in stock, SCALE 1:1 will replace it with an equal item and provide similar product options to Dealer.

Inspection Period and Acceptance of Merchandise:
SCALE 1:1 asks dealers and end users to inspect the orders upon receipt and the condition of the palletized goods upon arrival. In case of visible damages on pallet or cartons please warn your End User to either refuse receiving or take photos immediately, take notes of all damages or possible concealed damages before signing the delivery receipt. If the merchandise arrived damaged, please contact us and provide pictures and details of the damages in email form to orders@scale1to1.com. If the damaged order is not reported promptly, SCALE 1:1 will not be able to assist the customers with later claims and will not be responsible for such claims. Claims for any defects or omissions in shipments must be made in writing within 48 hours of receipt of merchandise. Failure to give us a written notice within 48 hours from delivery date shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise delivered. Any portions of shipment of goods that retained for a period of 48 hours shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the merchandise. In case Dealer/ End User choose to refuse the order delivery, SCALE 1:1 must be promptly notified. Otherwise, the delivery receipt of the goods shall be irrevocable and conclusively presumes SCALE 1:1. In case of return, SCALE 1:1 reserves the right to examine and inspect all returned and exchanged items before deciding to issue a credit to Dealer’s account. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Installation:
SCALE 1:1 Inc. does not provide furniture installation. Dealer agrees to take full responsibility for the installation services of SCALE 1:1 furniture, including but not limited to arranging the install date with the client, arranging certificate of insurance when applicable, provide customer service to client, follow up procedures and product maintenance when required. SCALE 1:1 is not responsible for damaged, lost or misplaced furniture parts during installation. Dealer is responsible for maintenance of products and to troubleshoot the furniture upon client’s requests.

Refunds and Returns:
SCALE 1:1 Inc. takes all possible measures to ensure that all orders ship and arrive in the best condition possible. SCALE 1:1 asks dealers and customers to inspect all products at the time of arrival, and note all damages or possible concealed damages before signing the delivery receipt. If the merchandise arrived damaged, please contact us, provide pictures and details of the damages. In case of damage at the end-user's location, it is the end-user's responsibility to keep the package, provide all necessary claim materials and prepare the merchandise to be picked up by the freight carrier. All manufacturing defective furniture must be reported to SCALE 1:1 via email: sales@scale1to1.com with images and basic description of the defects for replacement. SCALE 1:1 doesn’t issue cash refunds. Furniture that has been assembled and or proven damaged by misusage, mishandling will be replaced upon purchase of the new part.
Exceptionally manufacturing defects are acceptable as Returns for Office Furniture.
In case of a granted return, a Return Authorization Number will be sent to dealer pre-approving the return and be describing where and how to ship the product back. Absolutely no item will be accepted a return without the RAN.

Returns for Online Purchases:
SCALE 1:1 DOES NOT ACCEPT “Buyer’s Remorse Returns” of Office Furniture Items in any circumstance. Buyer’s remorse is not acceptable for all large office furniture (e.g.: over 30 pounds weight)
Return of Clocks and small items for End Users not satisfied or unhappy with the products:
After inspection of defective product and proven manufacturing defect, SCALE 1:1 will submit the RAN that must be shown on the shipping label, in the reference box. A refund will be issued to the dealer by issuing a credit memo for the same product value amount which was paid or exchange, only for the returned product, never the entire order (in case of more units on the purchase order). The dealer has 30 days to claim the return. Outside of such time period, return requests will not be accepted in any event. SCALE 1:1 Inc. does not accept or honor charge-backs, debits, returns, offsets, deductions, or claims without express written consent by SCALE 1:1 officers. It is asked that Dealers exercises common business courtesy and notify SCALE 1:1 of any issues so that they have an opportunity to address any concerns and amicably reach a solution.
There will be a 25% restocking fee for returned items received in damaged original packing. Otherwise, if the package is considered reusable, 10% will be charged – terms do not apply to office furniture.

Special-Custom Orders:
Please note that there may be variations in shade due to the natural origin of wood, leather and fabric materials. Digital or printed image colors can also be slightly different from the originals. Special order cannot be canceled unless the production of items had not taken place, after that the order will be fully executed. Company reserves right of refusal for refunds or exchanges after such time. All delivery dates are approximate and can change due to production time frame, overseas. Deposit of 60% must be paid before the order will be processed. All products remain as property of the SCALE1:1 Inc. until paid in full. No returns or refunds accepted for special/custom orders.
A dealer’s written purchase order will be considered an offer to purchase goods identified therein. Price quotations issued by SCALE 1:1 shall be valid for twenty (20) calendar days from the date of quotation.
All applicable federal, state and local sales, use, or exercise taxes are the dealer’s responsibility and shall be in addition to the price. The law of California, excluding its conflict of law rules, shall govern the rights and obligations of the parties. Any action arising out of transactions between SCALE 1:1 Inc. and the customer shall be heard and resolved in the Los Angeles, California court system. The United Nation Convention on Agreement for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to transactions between SCALE 1:1 Inc. and the dealer -customer. All products are sold as an ex-works warehouse.
To assure that the order is promptly available for pick up, all freight companies are required to call before arriving at our warehouse. All shipments are FOB our warehouse, freight independently hired.
SCALE 1:1 Inc. is not responsible for the damages caused by the freight company. The dealer, customer, buyer bears all costs and risks involved in taking the goods from SCALE 1:1 warehouse to the desired destination.

Trademarks:
The trademarks are pictures, logos, service marks used and displayed on SCALE 1:1 Inc.’ marketing material and its website are registered and unregistered Trademarks of SCALE 1:1 Inc. The name of SCALE 1:1 and each of its products logos or the other SCALE 1:1 Furniture & Lighting identities may not be used in any way, without prior written permission from SCALE 1:1 Inc.
SCALE 1:1 Inc. prohibits use of SCALE 1:1 Furniture & Lighting logo as part of a link to or from any site unless such link is approved in advance by SCALE 1:1 in writing. SCALE 1:1 Inc. aggressively enforces its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law.

License & Image Access:
SCALE 1:1 Inc. grants to resellers a limited license to access and make commercial use of these images and not to download or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express written consent of SCALE 1:1 Inc. This license does not include any reproduction rights, design copy (even with slight changes) resale or commercial use of SCALE 1:1 Furniture & Lighting designs and images or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of these images or its websites and or marketing material contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another dealer; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools. These images or any portion of the SCALE 1:1 Inc. images, catalog, website may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without express written consent of SCALE 1:1 Inc. Dealer may not frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of SCALE 1to1.com without express written consent.
Dealer may not use any meta tags or any other "hidden text" utilizing SCALE 1:1 Furniture’s name or trademarks without the express written consent of SCALE 1:1 Inc. Any unauthorized use terminates the permission or license granted by SCALE 1:1 Inc. Dealer is granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of www.scale1to1.com, as long as the link does not portray SCALE 1:1 Inc, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive matter. Dealer may not use any SCALE 1:1 Inc. logo or other proprietary graphic or trademark as part of the link without express written permission. Written permission containing permitted collateral marketing &sales.

Illegal or Fraudulent Activity:
SCALE 1:1 products, images and trademarks, may only be used for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. Dealer agrees to comply with all applicable laws, statutes, and regulations regarding the use of SCALE 1:1 photos and information. Any fraudulent or illegal behavior, such as but not limited, copy, replica of SCALE 1:1’ product line is strictly prohibited and may be reported by SCALE 1:1 to the law enforcement officials and SCALE 1:1 will cooperate in any manner to ensure violators are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Refund Policy for Scale 1:1

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. All sales are final.

To complete your exchange, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial exchange are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be exchange, unfortunately all items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for exchange your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If there is refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
